Who Are We?

We’re the official Google Developer Group chapter at KU Leuven - a student-led tech community backed by Google and connected to a global network of 1,300+ university chapters across 140+ countries.

Founded in 2025, GDG KU Leuven has quickly grown into one of the university’s most ambitious student communities - bringing together students who don’t just attend events, but build them.

We organize hands-on workshops, industry talks, and large-scale hackathons, working closely with tech companies, startups, and Google experts to create experiences that go beyond the classroom.

We’re building the 2026/27 GDG KU Leuven Core Team - a group of driven students and recent graduates who want to take ownership and build something meaningful.

GDG KU Leuven operates as a 25+ member student-led organization with a flat, collaborative structure - meaning:

• You work across domains, not in silos
• You’re encouraged to take initiative and lead early
